I went out for a Sunday drive today. I was just motoring along, minding my own business when out of the blue I see a shocking green car in my rear view mirror. And then I noted two oddly shaped headlamps. Lamborghini? In Colorado Springs? Indeed. In fact, it was a Lamborghini Huracan, in the wild. It was certainly the first one I've seen. The Ferrari F430 wasn't too bad either, but the Huracan made the F430 sound like a Tercel. The Huracan has a ridiculous roar. Fortunately for me, keeping up with them was no problem. I had just borrowed my neighbor's bike.
His Ducati Monster S4 has been around for awhile, but he keeps incredible care of it and it goes like nobody's business. The Ferrari guy really liked it a lot. Today it ran particularly fast on 100 octane racing fuel. It was a happy day.

Yeah, the Huracan is a fantastic looking car, I saw my first one last weekend (it was white) and it looked great. I'm sure that green looked amazing too, bright colored Lamborghinis look the best to me.

It's an F92 with an ESS supercharger with 675 hp at the crank and around 600 hp at the wheels. It's sweet.

Yep, it's his. And he does. My 135i is the exact SME color, but not quite as fast!

ah yes space gray is a great color. My 328i is a darker gray, sparkling graphite. I'm also not as fast haha.
Any mods on te 1er? N54's are very potent engines..

Nothing yet. I'm thinking about Cobb Tuning's inter cooler, down pipe, and exhaust, plus the access port. Also Afe's cold air intake, along with some suspension bits.

Even just an exhaust would be awesome. There's a way to mod your exhaust to sound like a 335is (basically an N54 performance exhaust) for cheap.

Where in or around the springs do you go to take your drives/rides? I live in the springs and love the 115 down to Canon city, but I am looking for new and fun roads in the area.

Well, to be honest, I didn't enjoy this ride. I was heading down C-115 South just past Ft Carson. It was windy as all get out and not enjoyable. I much prefer going up to Mount and following C-105 North until it hits C-67. I turn right and follow it west. Eventually it ends at dirt road, where I turn around and head back. It has some nice curves, some nice straights, and is a nice drive/ride.
